About Caribbean Essence Inc. is owned and operated by Christiana Howe, the company president. Born in Montserrat, a small island in the Caribbean, Christiana credits her entrepreneurial skills to her mother Sarah Howe. Growing up in the Caribbean in a family of 14 children she always admired how resourceful her mother was, running 2 or more small business ventures while raising a family. Christiana immigrated to Quebec, Canada in 1975. The company was started in 2005 to fill a void in obtaining black art products. |
